Such a pleasure to spend some time with host, April Fallon!
Please see podcast link for below.
Thank you for this opportunity Jamie and Mark! Such kind, caring and considerate hosts. You made the interview relaxed and easy. It was such a pleasure to speak with you about my own story and about the creation of my book!
Thank you to Adopt4Life for the wonderful opportunity to reach out to families who are travelling an adoption, kinship, customary care, or alternative care journey. I hope that my book is able to help with the journey in some way!
For those of you who have more than one person who might benefit from the activities between the chapters of the book, please know that the activity pages from the book are available in the Activities Page of this website. You can download and print them at no cost. There is also a bonus finger puppet craft/activity too! Enjoy!
Thank you to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption for inviting me to present on February 23, 2022 to a Canada-wide meeting of their recruiters and supervisors. Keep up the great work finding families for children and youth! Thank you also for the opportunity to compose a guest blog.
Please see link details below.
Thank you to the Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board (CDSSAB) for inviting me to the 2022 Family Day virtual story reading for the Cochrane District EarlyON Centres. We had fun reading “A Family is a family is a family” by Sara O’Leary, “Families, Families, Families!” written by Suzanne Lang & Max Lang, and some excerpts from my book, “What Is Your Story? Let’s talk about adoption and kinship.” Through these books we learned about many different kinds of families!
